Chabad of Athens was established in spring 2001, and is directed by Rabbi Mendel and Nechama Hendel . Chabad's goal is to establish a welcoming and warm center for each and every Jew, local as well as travelers, providing them with all their Jewish needs.
The Chabad House- as well as the Kosher restaurant Gostijo, where the Shabbat meals take place, and the Kosher grocery - are all located in the same building in central Athens, Psiri, 10 Aisopou St. (sometimes spelled Esopou). The Mikvah is located nearby, one minute walk.
