The Jovita Cojab Mikvah is taking the following steps to keep our guests healthy and safe in light of the current situation. We have consulted with rabbis, medical professionals and other mikvaot to help us formulate this Covid-19 Protocol. Please be vigilant about following it.

You may NOT attend the Mikvah if:

1. You exhibit any symptoms of illness

Women who had any Covid-19 symptoms (see screening questions below), should not visit the Mikvah for at least 7 days after symptoms began and for at least three days after fever or cough has resolved, even if they had negative COVID-19 testing. If you have even a slight fever, please do not use the Mikvah.

2. You have been exposed to a person with known or suspected COVID-19

Women who have been exposed to a person with known or suspected COVID-19 should not visit the Mikvah for 14 days following the last exposure.

3. You have been instructed to quarantine

Women instructed to be in voluntary or precautionary quarantine by their local department of health should not visit the Mikvah until they have completed their quarantine.

4. You have tested positive for Covid-19

Women who test positive for COVID-19 should delay mikvah use until cleared by the local department of health and by the Mikvah management.

If you have visited the Mikvah and developed a confirmed case of COVID-19 within 14 days of your visit, please notify the Mikvah attendant immediately so that we can take additional steps to ensure the safety of our guests.
