Humanitarian situation in Gaza

Yesterday, Israel stopped the fighting for 3 hours to allow food and other humanitarian supplies to enter the Gaza strip. Have you EVER heard of a country in state of war who STOPS the fighting against its enemy in order to feed the civilians? If yes, please share....
